Activities: This is a kid friendly event with activities for the whole family. There will be live music, face painting and kids' activities, an Expo with vendors and a drawing with great prizes
Image-Guided Intervention Center will be the first of its kind in the nation. This Center will give many children with congenital heart disease the opportunity to be diagnosed and treated through cardiac MRI. This 3-D imaging will be faster and offer exquisite detail of the heart and the opportunity to conduct a procedure in real-time, even as the heart beats. Procedure examples include fixing holes in the heart, connecting vessels and valve repair. Cardiac MRI will also eventually eliminate the need to use X-Ray (2-D) for diagnosis and treatment; therefore, excluding harmful radiation.

FOR A FUR-TASTIC TIME WE ASK EVENT PARTICIPANTS TO BE AWARE OF THE FOLLOWING:
Female dogs in heat are prohibited
Dogs attending must be social and friendly with other dogs and people
Dogs attending must be comfortable in crowds
Dogs who display aggressive behavior, as determined by the City of Santee volunteers or staff, will be asked to leave
Dogs must be up to date on vaccinations. This means puppies must be over 4 months old and have completed their full set of puppy vaccinations, including rabies
All dogs must be kept on a leash, no longer than 6 feet, at all times
Dogs must be ready to have a good time, exhibited by lots of tail wagging!

Help us clear the shelters while drinking wine and visiting the local artists. Rescues will be placed along the streets of Girard at various locations. A map will be provided to assist with finding your new friend.
Some dogs you may be able to take with you on the spot while some do require an application just to ensure each dog is being placed in a home filled with lots of love.
