Bullet's journey is nothing short of remarkable. Rescued from a shelter in December 2023, where he faced euthanasia due to being deemed "unwanted," Bullet’s spirit and sweet demeanor quickly won hearts. His tough past includes surviving on the streets for nine months, during which he sustained numerous injuries, including two bullets still lodged in his body, though they don't cause him harm. He required FHO surgery in early January 2024 due to a back leg injury, likely from being hit by a car. Now, Bullet runs and plays as if his leg was never hurt.
At approximately 2.5 years old, Bullet is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and in great health following his surgery. He gets along wonderfully with an older Cane Corso and a female American Bully XL in his foster home. He has been around adults and children 12 and older but has not been tested with younger kids, cats, or other animals.
Bullet is a well-mannered, calm dog who knows basic commands like sit, lay down, and stay. He is potty trained, doesn’t jump on people, and sits at your feet with a wagging tail, waiting to be petted. Bullet loves playing fetch, tug-of-war, and even enjoys playing with empty water bottles, likely a habit from his days on the street.
He’s been through so much, and Bullet deserves a home where he can get the attention and love he truly needs. Anyone lucky enough to adopt him will gain a very special companion.
