Description:

Estimated to be approx 7-8 months old (as of March 2024), Pennie is a playful, spirited little gal, with a gorgeous almost iridescent copper color coat. She’s a mixed breed of smaller bullys’, often referred to as a micro-bully. Weighing in at approx. 26lbs, we don’t expect her to get much bigger in physical size, but she will definitely grow in personality as she has already shown her foster how much love she has to offer.

Pennie is crate trained, and a generally quiet dog. Given her age she’s still a puppy and needs a home prepared for normal puppy antics, willing to put structure and training in place to ensure Pennie stays on the right track for success and develops into an amazing pup. Pennie is super confident with a strong will and will need a solid leader, preferable someone with previous bull-dog type dog experience.  She walks well on a leash, is super food motivated, and follows her foster mama around everywhere she goes.  Pennie loves everyone she meets, and may also do well with a submissive male dog in the home.

Micro-bullys, while not a defined breed, rather a mix of small bull-dog type dogs, require a heighted level of care due to their physical and genetic development. While we don’t see any current medical concerns with Pennie, these small bullys can develop issues based on their genetics, so please research health conditions before submitting an application. Even for  healthy dogs, heightened awareness of temperatures and risk for overheating can occur with the brachycephalic (short-smooshed nosed) dogs more easily than a dog with a longer snout. Skin care and daily wrinkle-cleaning is required to ensure the skin folds remain clean.
